Happy summer solstice! It’s hard to believe June 20 is the first official day of summer with the heat some of us have already been facing. Beach trips, road trips, visiting family trips, 4th of July trips—you get the idea—are in full swing. Traveling with a baby requires a bit more preparation than getting in the car and going, but phil&teds make it a little easier to…err, plan your spontaneity.
The phil&teds Traveller Playard is the go-to travel cot for families with young children. It can be used in place of hotel cribs, camping, or while staying with family members without a baby-accommodating sleeping arrangement. The phil&teds Traveller is very lightweight (5.5 lbs) and easy to carry with a shoulder strap, and is small enough to be packed in luggage or placed in the overhead compartment during your flight.
The travel cot features a self-inflating, thermally insulated mattress with vinyl covering. It’s simple to wipe down and clean, and can of course be topped with a sheet tucked underneath if you or your child desires. Instead of bending and lowering your baby into the crib, the phil&teds cot features a side zipper for easier access. It does require some assembly and take down, in comparison to its competitor, the Baby Bjorn Travel Crib Light. The lightweight form factor and compact packing ability make the phil&teds version the way to go for families that travel.
The phil&teds Traveller Playard is available in black or red, and will surely bring some ease back into traveling.
